1. Hey, I can't figure out how to do...
Sorry to hear it, but send us a message and we'll be happy to try and
help you out. Best thing to do is contact
Rob,
our Site Admin.
2. I downloaded one of the movies from the site, but I can't watch it
on my computer!
SonoGraphic, like many other online video sites converts uploaded
videos into lightweight formats that can be easily streamed back out.
In this case, the files you can download are in "flash video" format
with the file extension -flv. You can still watch them easily with
programs such as
VLC. More information about the
format is available at
Wikipedia. If you need to convert
the FLV file to another format to incorporate into Powerpoint or for
another presentation, there are several free and paid conversion tools
available on the web. One such tool,
youconvertit.com
is one such site, although it does degrade the quality a little.
Another good free option, that requires a download is
Quick
Media Converter which can quickly convert our FLV files into
many different formats. If you find a better free option, let us know
and we will post it here!
3. My echo clips have sensitive patient info on them, do you know how I
can remove it?
We have had the best success with a program called
VirtualDub.
It is a very lightweight program that can let you convert clips, edit
them, add watermarks and logos, or just block out an area to remove
patient info.
